Week 1 - Shadow Work - Exercise 2 - Somatic Shaking

This week's second exercise is somatic shaking, a powerful practice for releasing emotions, tension, and any stagnant energy in the body. By shaking your body, much like a dog does, you can reset your nervous system.

Additionally, tapping just below the collarbone while keeping your mouth open can help facilitate a deep emotional purge. This point is believed to be connected to the body's meridian system.

When you tap on this point, it stimulates the flow of energy through the body and can help clear blockages or emotional congestion. It's thought that this stimulation helps to:

  1. Release stored emotions: The tapping can bring awareness to emotional blockages, allowing the body to process and release them more easily.

  2. Calm the nervous system: It may help regulate the body's stress response, reducing tension and promoting a sense of relaxation and safety.

  3. Rebalance energy: Tapping on this point can help reset the body's energy, facilitating emotional clarity and a sense of calm.

When combined with practices like somatic shaking, this tapping helps support a deeper emotional release, allowing you to reset your energy and process any difficult emotions that come up during your inner work.
